Goodbye From Luton - Well Played Tom Hall

Well after 15 hours of play today we have finally finished and have crowned a champion in Tom Hall(above). He beat a field of 37 players to become the winner, taking home the trophy and £7,400. Although low on numbers there has been some great poker played this weekend played in great spirits. Well done to everyone who played and everyone who cashed. We hope you enjoyed the blog and the livestream. The next event we will be covering is The GukPT Grand Final in London. From everyone here at D4 we will see you then.

Hall Moving On Up

For the first time since we have been four handed we see a four way limped pot.

All players then check the flop of 6h--7d--2c to see the turn card which is 5d

David decides to have a stab at the pot and bets 9,000. He gets it through Paul & Gary as they both pass but Tom makes the call from the button.

The river card is 2d.

David leads out again, this time for 20,000. Action comes to Tom who thinks for a while before raising to 48,800. David calls after a few minutes of thought.

Tom shows Ad-8d for the nut flush which is good enough to take the pot.

David is now down to 90,000.
